this is the biggest and rarest japanese meji era rager that I've made to date. these surprisingly to me never seem to sell particularly well but gosh dang are they my favourite to make. I know I should stick to what sells well but that ain't what this is about when it's all said and done. plus I'm never sad to have my favourite pieces to look at for longer
anyway sorry for rambling if you're still reading this vase is incredibly unique and has hella context clues to help place/date it. this vase is made of thick opaline glass which was strictly only experimented with for western export purposes in the years 1880-1890. the depiction of sparrows also suggests that it was created with the intent for western export. the patterns on the neck pinpoint it specifically to the Yokohama religion of Japan
it's been brought to life with mustard gator branded hardware and would be an all time daily rig
find it online now and in store tomorrow. thanks for looking
