@midcenturyglassware found this piece quite some time ago. It’s an antique ceramic jug that was handmade in Palestine. We had to do a little reverse image research to confirm. It appears as though it was designed for coffee but these were also made for oil. I guess it could be either or, but oil would typically be a smaller in size jug.
